The University of Groningen (UG) is a leader in advanced biomedical research, with a strong focus on spatially resolved molecular analysis of human and animal tissues, cultured cells, and diverse biomaterials. A key component of this research is the ability to map the distribution of endogenous and exogenous biomolecules—including proteins, peptides, lipids, metabolites, glycans, and drugs—with high spatial resolution and molecular specificity.
