Market Consultation For new HRMS

The Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPS) department, has the intention to acquire a state-of-the-art liquid chromatography - high resolution mass spectrometer (LC-HRMS) platform for the separation, identification, and characterization of a large variety of molecules with an emphasis on small molecules such as metabolic intermediates, substrates and products, of wide chemical diversity, including sugar phosphates, organic acids, amino acids, nucleotides, secondary metabolites, redox cofactors and related, drugs or xenobiotics and their metabolites. The dedicated technology will also be used to conduct stable isotope resolved metabolomics (SIRM), to perform metabolic flux analyses in metabolic studies.
